Actually it's just a couple of hours. Maybe 12 hours. I wouldn't consider it an all day trip.

It is Tidal Wave. Six Flags Great America sent it to Six Flags Over Georgia (where it was renamed as Viper), then Gerorgia sent it to Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom where it is now (named Greezed Lightnin')

12 hours? If you live way way way up in the Northern Most Sections of Wisconsin or Minnesota yeah maybe 12 hours.
But from Elgin to Louisville = 5 1/2
Joliet to Louisville = 4 to 5 1/2 Hours
