In case you didn't know, or cared to know the reason for the park being called Six Flags is because all those flags flew over Texas, and the first park was in Texas.

The flags are Spain, France, Mexico, Confederate, Republic of Texas, and the United States flag.

This is a picture of the original park. These are the names with the flags. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I looked at the flags, and I tried to figure out which one is by doing some research, and looking which each one looks like.



It's just an awesome sight to see when you are at the park that started it all.

Some of those flags don't look the way they should unless some of them are older flags that predate the current design.

And why does the French flag look all white? lol
