I wish that Six Flags would buy the Led Zeppelin Ride to any Six Flags park.

That didn't take long.
That's a shame, Hard Rock Park had pretty good potential until the economy went to hell.

Shoot...I knew I should've gone last year. I never got to ride the Led Zeppelin ride. Maybe Cedar Fair will purchase, I doubt Six Flags would.

[edit] Whoops, someone already said what I had in the first part.
I've read a few other articles about the park, and it seems that the city of Myrtle Beach was never very supportive of the park. There was opposition all along the way; they really didn't want to have anything to do with the park besides allowing it to be within Myrtle Beach. The local media didn't even help since they seemed to always report on the bad aspects and debt of the park and this made it unpopular to local residents. With a brand new park of this size, of course there's going to be a lot of debt, what the hell do they expect?

Hard Rock Park has found a buyer. FPI MB Entertainment wants to purchase the park for $25 million. They want to have the park reopened by Memorial Day of this year.

I hope they stay this time. I plan on going sometime soooo yaa..

Will the park be keeping the Hard Rock brand? One thing that was mentioned in the previous articles is how Hard Rock wasn't pleased with the performance of the park and was taking action against the previous owners because it damaged their reputation. Not sure what the terms are on the name, but if they did expire, it would seem to me that they would be reluctant to give their name again.

Didn't the Hardrock restaurants go broke a long time ago?
