WILMINGTON, DEL. -- Hard Rock Park is on track to get new life this summer after a judge on Tuesday approved its sale for $25 million to FPI MB Entertainment, which plans to reopen the park by Memorial Day.
The sale is scheduled to close no later than 5 p.m. Thursday, but could happen as early as today.
A federal bankruptcy court judge in Delaware, Kevin Carey, called the price adequate and the process rigorous. Several potential buyers emerged in the past week after the bankruptcy trustee recommended the sale be made to FPI. The judge did not allow an auction Tuesday.

I will be making attempt #2 when they announce an opening day
(attempt #1 took place October 5th 2008, 1 1/2 weeks after they announced their closer but I had booked my trip 2 weeks before >:( )
That's kind of a stupid sounding name. I hope they were able to keep the rights for the songs and names they used on the rides. It would be just another park without that stuff.
I think the park has better pricing to get people in the park, but maybe it's too low of a price, and they are going to lose money because of it. The park hasn't really done much to change it from Hard Rock Park though. They have changed signs because they had to, but they only really changed one attractions (Monsters), and added some more kids rides. That doesn't help that much.
Sidenote: These smiles are cool.
