A MACK Splash Battle that opened in 2009 with a pirate theme.

It's not a rollercoaster but a a water ride we need since we lost Splash Water Falls and it will be a hit this summer as it is fun to spray people on the boats and they try to spray back at you. I think it's a good edition.

rode it today there are still alot of quirks that need to be worked out like none of the theming gets u wet. Another thing is the guns on the ships dont reach the people waiting in line i would give it 3/10

I think it will grow on people once they actually try it. I haven't been on the boats yet because of the low temps , but i love shooting at the boats from the cannons in the viewing area. It's almost addicting because once you start, you dont wanna leave as i noticed this with teens, adults and myself. I think once the temps soar this summer it will be really popular because if you ride the boats you WILL definitely get wet one way or another.

Another thing is that on a windy day, the water streams that comes from the cannons on the boat and on dry land gets blown all over the place without reaching the boats or people and they are basically useless until the winds die down. So, It looks like its going to have it's bad days like other rides, but other than that, i think its going to be a decent addition for this year.

Too short, better themed for Yankee Harbor, good themeing but needed more of it, targets need to get the boats wet. Boats should spin so both sides of the boat can get wet, guns need to be easier to shoot you really have to pump in order to get any distance on them. Tipping bucket it great especially if it is too hot. Line always moving so fastest way to get wet and re ride.

While I'm always going to be skeptical on a ride that replaced something amazing, I really think this is an example of how lazy we are. On our boat once, many people were complaining after only a minute of how tiring the ride is.

Overall, not the best, still needs some quirks to be fixed.
