Title: V2

does anyone think there even going to spend the time and money on fixing V2's holding brake.
And hows the ride without the holding brake?

It's like a tower 1 miscatch

I like it better without the holding brake. Looks like it will be staying this way for a while.

It's no shock to me they haven't fixed it yet. Why fix it when they feel that's extra money? They rather spend money on putting Six Flags on Sky Trek Tower.

That brake was the worst part of the ride. It killed all airtime you get on the back spike. It's way better when that doesn't hold, and I hope they don't fix it.

what was it used for if it wasn't needed

It was there to add another element to the ride. When it deploys, some people get scared by it, and that just adds to the effect of the ride. As I've mentioned earlier though, I didn't like this part.

It would stop you in mid-air on the straight up track on the 4th time back and forth.
So, it goes once up what I call spiral, than through station, goes up straight track, than through station, up spiral, through station, and than once it gets to the straight track it used to stop up there for like 3 seconds (seems longer when you are on it), go through station, and than ends in the spiral again.
No it doesn't stop, or "hold" you up in the air.

You are comparing apples to bananas here.. The amount of money I assume it would take to repair v2, you could paint six flags on every ride in the park and still have enough to go to the strip club when you were done..

Ugh, I refuse to go on this ride. I don't like being launched.

I don't think it's going to be fixed for awhile
