Title: Photo Thread

Post any good photos you shot here. Try to keep this particular thread non-coaster-related unless the pic is absolutely spectacular.

While coming home from a car show tonight I stopped to get some shots of the sunset, and some of the Fiero.

I like the second one. Where was that shot at?

superbleachbrothers - May 20, 2009 11:09 AM (GMT)
Lake County Fairgrounds in Crown Point, Indiana.

I took my Fuji camera to Indiana Dunes and took some pics. It's also the first time I have added a watermark so no one can't steal my pics.

I like the bird. Is that a Condor??

superbleachbrothers - July 15, 2009 07:27 PM (GMT)
I don't think so. I think some kind of Eagle or something.

I researched Condor, and it looks nothing like that. A condor looks like a vulture. I think that's a Hawk. I don't think it's an Eagle. They have Eagles at the Brookfield, and Lincoln Park zoos. At the Lincoln Park Zoo, there is one outside in the cage by the bird house. He or she is all the way in the back of that black cage.

At Brookfield Zoo, it's in the children's area, and I think there is a Hawk there too, but there is definitely an owl because we go Woo Woo to him or her.

Jonrev, that long exposure Fiero pic is amazing!

Thanks! I actually shot that while broken down and waiting for the tow truck.

You guys got me so paranoid over Hurricane Harbor pictures (specifically the reasons why you wouldn't want to take pictures there.) That now I am thinking you should pixelate your license plate number on the photo of your car. I have been jaded now!

^ What camera are you getting?

Luxornv - December 14, 2010 05:49 AM (GMT)
I just recently got a Canon Powershot SX 120 IS. I love this camera. 10x optical zoom, 10 megapixel, with everything adjustable. If you saw my TR from Cedar Point this past summer, those are some of the pictures I've taken with it. I also bring it to hockey games and have gotten some good ones there. I haven't been able to use it many other places though due to weather. I can't wait for the summer when I'll finally be able to try it out at the drag strip. I'll post some of my hockey pictures later.

Looks like a really good camera, but pricey. Definitely not bring it to GA because it looks bulky.

I have the previous camera, Canon Powershot SX110 IS. I use this camera when ever I go to GA.

I just got a camera, I don't think it's a very good one but it's a step up regardless because my old one was not having a camera.

On that note here are some of my better pics

EDIT: Forgot captions (because I love typing more)
