Never noticed until now, but RCDB has finally added some pics of Z-Force. The pics are great quality for being over 20 years old.

By looking at those pics, that coaster looks really fun. If SFGAm keep that coaster, I would of rode on it.

I am one of the few who can say they actually did ride it....in Valencia. It was rough, slow, and boring. But seeing it with a proper paint job, new trains (at that time) in Iron Wolf's spot, I no doubt believe it was better than my experience. This is a really cool find.
Also, I believe this was B&M's first coaster, so it is somewhat historical.

It was an Intamin/Giovanola project, but Bolliger and Mabillard were working for them at the time. I think it's the first coaster with their now infamous track shape.

That's what I meant. The track. Ironically, their first independant coaster would go in Z-FORCE's spot!

It looks as if Z-Force wasn't a really big hit...
It only lasted 2 Years...
Was it mechanical problems, or just general low use?

Z-Force was a part of Six Flags' long-discontinued "Ride Rotation Program" from the mid 80s.
They bought a whole mess of rides and every couple of years the rides would shift from park to park. That way they saved money by just moving a bunch of existing rides opposed to buying and installing whole new rides, and the parks got new rides for the year.
