After months of trying to find the switch in the Admin Control crap, I have turned the Search feature on. Though, to be honest it's garbage as it's Google-based and it picks up every thread that has the word you're searching for instead of the one thread you need.

However, there is a message reading "The official forum search system is offline at the moment. This is a temporary search until the official system returns", so this might change.
