An original Marriott ride that opened with the park in 1976, this was a rotor-ride located in the space where Jester's kiddie ride is now in Mardi Gras. This was simply a small house with a cylinder shaped room. You stood up against the wall of the room, and it bagan to spin faster and faster, until you were stuck to to wall by the gravitational forces. At that point, the floor dropped about 4-5 feet, and you remained stuck to the wall, with giggles and squeals of delight! Then the floor rose back up and the ride slowed and stopped. This was alot of fun, and a very unique ride, much better than the lame "tugboat" Jester ride that now occupies it's space. As I understand it, a girl (wearing flip flops, I believe) got her heel pinched when the floor rose at the end of the ride, so the ride was removed in the early 2000's, as to avoid a legal confrontation, even though people had ridden this safely for over 25 years. Too bad it's gone...
I give this ride a 5/10. My reason being is that it was nothing more than the Gravitron you find at carnivals. Yes, it's a little different, but not much.
