Title: SFGAm Fright Fest - 10/3/09.

GreatAmericaFan17 - October 4, 2009 04:28 PM (GMT)
Myself and a friend decided to go to Fright Fest, surprisingly, the entire park had been completely dead. I suppose it was because of the rain which made the park as dead as it was, we got on basically all of the rides more than three times. Pretty good day, some reviews though on the haunted houses since we went through all of them. (This year Great America has the 'Fright Pass' it was a good deal for the amount it was.)

Mausoleum of Terror - Awesome as always. I really enjoy this haunted house, probably my favorite out of all of them.

Studio 13 - They changed it up completely this year and I didn't even know that was going to happen, but, WOW. This one was really good. I recommend this one to anyone, the scareactors in there got me pretty good.

Rise of the Demon - Never had gone into this one before, Demons were great this year. Hope they keep this as years go on.

Cell Block 'A' - Very.. disappointing. I was really hoping for the screaming soldiers and some aliens in here, there were probably only three scareactors in this entire thing. I think they really need to improve this one, it could be much better. Hopefully in the next few weeks they'll get some more scareactors in there (as this was the first weekend.)

Shame they had cut out the Vampires, Werewolves, Pirates as well. I missed the Pirates roaming around Yankee Harbor, Clowns were great this year! I also really enjoyed Necropolis, I saw some characters that I hadn't seen for a few years. Larry also doesn't look right on Condor at all. Still, in general, I think this Fright Fest could have its' improvements. Otherwise, I had fun. Most likely will be going back in a week or two.
