Because I take the Skokie Swift into the loop rather than drive I started reading about the old North Shore Line that used to run from Chicago through Waukegan, North Chicago and all the way up to Milwaukee.
By my house in Winnetka, there are still old right of ways and buildings from the original North Shore Line. There are also the same kinds of relics all over near SFGA! It even has a cool website I found. http://www.northshoreline.com/

If that were still running, it would draw a lot more people to SFGA!
