Title: MTV - No More Music

We all know, however, that MTV has been garbage for the last 15 or so years.
Like one of the commenters said, reality shows killed the video star.

That station really sucks now anyway. VH1's the way to go

VH1 is just as bad... MTV owns them and has done the same thing, replace music videos with reality and "I Love The..."-type shows.

It will henceforth be known as GTV (Garbage Television)
Nice "Video Killed The Radio Star" Buggles reference! (First video played on MTV) The second video was?
I haven't watched MTV since 1984!
Of course I go way back to the Midnight Special with Wolfman Jack and Don Kirshner's Rock Concert which showed music videos long before there was MTV.
I saw both Queen and Kiss videos debut on those shows.

Hasn't it been with no videos for a long, long time anyway? I guess who cares about MTV anymore.

The Buggles are still around too. They should have been asked to do another video as the "last" video on MTV.

MTV still airs music videos at 3 or 4 AM, but it's mostly poppy crap.

I used to like TRL on that channel, Celebrity Deathmatch, and Mandy Moore used to have her own show. I haven't watched that channel in the longest time though.

Hmmm... do the Dire Straits still want their MTV?

MTV and that band are both in "Dire Straits"
Both hit their peaks in 1985 and twenty five years later, both are no more.
