Just as we start to see some signs of improvement (albeit small) in the economy, the Illinois legislature is now considering raising the state income tax friom three percent to five percent!
This means even less disposable income for us. But it also means that employers tax contributions will rise. Consequently we will have lower wages and/or fewer jobs! Both scenarios will have a serious impact on a company like Six Flags.
If you ever had an inkling to become proactive with regard to things you enjoy (Like SFGA) than please write to your representitives and respectfully ask them to reconsider doing this.
