There is going to be a new law over there that says no Toys for kids anymore because they believe that Mcdonald's and other fast food places are unhealthy, and a Happy Meal with the toy is seducing kids to buy the happy meal.

Honestly, after looking at the nutrition facts - basically calories, I feel those meals aren't unhealthy at all. They come to 590 calories with fries, drink, and a hamburger. Seriously, 590 calories is horrible!! Since when. Sure, I'm almost positive kids aren't a 2000 calorie diet, but 590, what's wrong with that?

It just amazes me when all the hate is towards fast food, but yet no one blames the huge portions of more food you eat restaurants. These regular restaurants for the most part give you a boatload of food really just so they can keep the prices high up. For Olive Garden, why do you need anything Dinner. It's just so they get more money in their pocket. You can go for Lunch, and you will be stuffed.

Fast food to me isn't America's problem with calories. One cookie can be 100 something calories. Yes, I said one!! Shakes can be up in order of 700 calories, and yes that is ONE shake. Cakes can also be up there depending on how much you eat. These are the real "bad" as in a lot of calories for you. For goodness sakes an appetizer at a restaurant is like 2000 calories, and 590 calories full meal at Mcdonald's is the culprit. These must be some very stupid people.

Why aren't appetizers at any restaurant illegal, or deserts. Oh, yeah it's not Fast Food, and Fast Food is the culprit. Okay, I'll eat my fast food now.

You hit the nail on the head with this one. That's absolutely ridiculous. It's the parents' fault for letting their kids eat so much crap, not a toy.

It's because America and society as a whole refuses to ever just blame themselves for what's wrong with them. McDonald's is quite the large corporation, "so it's their fault". Everything needs a scapegoat, no one is to blame, provided they are not in charge.
