NO BUMPING. These are the cars from Kiddie Land, looks like they aren't working well?

Unless they transferred the Standard Oil plaques to the Kiddieland cars, those are the originals. Kiddieland cars have seatbelts.

I really don't know for sure if these are from Kiddie land, I guessed they were because they look very nice, new paint and all. Looked identical to the one that was by the AE ramps.

I remember when those cars were called the Barney Oldfield race cars or something to that effect.

I think a reason to why Batman the Ride has no caps is because so they can differeniate the trains easily, or the one without without caps runs too slow, and and to take off the caps is better for it.

Anyway, I like the one without caps better because for the other one, the wind plays a factor is slowing down the train with the caps actually on. Also, with the one with no caps, and the one with caps it's easy to see how many trains are going at any given time.

I personally wish they both had no caps. Faster rides equals more fun!

I don't really think that the caps have much to do with the air movement. And if they do, they probably help since their going over a smother surface. I find it bothersome that one has covers and the other doesn't, it's been so long already. :P

But the real reason there are caps anyways is that no one messes around with the wheels, as I hear some did with Deja Vu, since it was so fricken low.

I thought the real reason is because of grease from the train getting onto people. Batman wheeels seem much higher than Deja Vu was.

Or for another theory of why they don't use them, maybe one broke off when the ride was running (I'll have to count them on the ground to see if there are 16 there.), and they don't want to buy another one, or would have to buy a completely new set of them (to match) because they don't make that type anymore?

In my avatar (for a week), I will have the Kiddieland cars when they were at Kiddieland. They pretty much look the same as Great America's though.
