I guess I'm a little more excited for the parade than the Little Dipper. I have ridden the Little Dipper before, and it's a good ride. I don't think it's the best ride, but it's okay, but the parade I think is going to be such an upgrade because I have seen the floats they have now for such a long time. Plus, a Scooby-Doo float in the parade should be cool! Plus I think the one at Kings Island is a better airtime filled type of Little Dipper. It was called Fairly Odd Coaster.
Is a parade going to get tons of people in the park though? It's a parade and nothing more. I guess showing some footage of the parade would help, but if they advertise oh this is just a glow in the park parade, I don't know about that. Also, the Little Dipper is basically a brand new ride. It's not going to feel the same than (even thought the layout is the same) it was at Kiddieland because they basically rebuilt the whole thing - plus it's in a kiddie area, and I feel kind of weird in a kiddie area even though in my opinion, that ride was more intense than Viper when it was at Kiddieland. I guess I'll go on it during the morning or night when the kids are gone - not that much though in a day. It was okay to me.
The rides I loved at Kiddieland the most were the Polyp = Octopus, Moser Spring Tower - much better imo than Giant Drop, Tilt-A-Whirl, and than sort of the Bumper Cars, but than they told me not to hit the cars from the side as they were turning. Give me a break. It's bumper cars, not wimpy ride of cars. So, I started hitting empty cars because otherwise, you can barely hit the cars because they are going in a circle. Hitting empty cars was so much fun taking agression out on empty cars defenseless just sitting there. Fun, fun!
I guess I'm not one for unrough wooden coasters.
Oh and by the way, there is still a regular car Scooby-Doo van (that I'm guessing won't be in the parade), but there is a parade Scooby-Doo van type of thing, and I hope that Batmobile goes to the parade that was secretly parked in the Dark Knight attraction.
