Family-sized figure eight wooden roller coaster relocated from the historic Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park, IL, where it operated from 1950 until 2009.

It isn't intense, not that you'd expect it to be, yet as you walk up to the station there is some sort of charm going on to such an old ride. I feel like I'm at Indiana Beach in line. The drops are very mild, but they are certianly there and actually have a little feeling unlike some other kids rides.

Overall 9/10

Passing Triton College in River Grove is very hard now a COSCO occupies the space of Kiddie Land. Which sucks because when I was feeling down I would go past Kiddie land and I would always feel better. Now more of the same thing that we see anywhere. I have to ride this just to say that I was on something from Kiddie Land.

I knew that the LD was going to family coaster rather than the larger rides. Its not like the Whizzer where there are bank turns. It's a decent ride, but I never really enjoyed the ride when I first rode on LD. No airtime, very few moments of fastness, and the trains are similar to IB's Hoosier Harricane.

4/10
