Title: Cedar Point

My very first tript to CP blew me away. We stayed 3 nights, and 3 days at the park. Service was decent and CP definatley runs there park better than SFGAm,(are all Cedar Fair parks like this)?

DAY 1

Got there at 5 after a very what seemed like a long roadtrip. First ride was Millie, it was amazing, the first drop is insane and it stays rather consistant. Next it was on to TTD, I wasn't expecting that launch. This ride definatley gives you the best view though. I forgot what we hit after that but I do remember riding Raptor once, Magnum, MaxAir, and Skyhawk. Left at 11.

DAY 2

This was the day that I rode Power Tower, Maverick (new favorite), Gemini, Wicked Twister, Corkscrew, Iron Dragon, Mantis. Rode Millie and TTD once more this day. All of the new coasters of day 2 were decent besides Maverick which exceeded expectations.

DAY 3

Not much happening this day, had a minny Skyhawk marathon, getting on five stright rides. Rode Maverick and Gemini twice more, another on Millie Wicked Twister, Raptor, Power Tower, and of course Skyhawk and MaxAir, also the first time on Cedar Creek Mine Ride and Blue Streak. At the end of the day I caught the show and the light up forest which were awsome. One thing that was noteworthy was that as we were leaving we notice MaxAir runing at around 10:45 so we get in line because it looks open, so the guy lets us on then 10 seconds later we are told that it is an employee ride night so that was kind of embarrissing.

Adidional Notes

TTD-Very neet experience, liked it alot. 8.5/10

Millenium Force-Great ride as I said before 9/10

Raptor-Kicks Batman:The Ride's butt. 7/10

Maverick-New favorite with a great 70 Mph surprise. Plus I saw an eldery veteran ride it and come off with a smile. 9.5/10

Gemini-Neet little hybrid coaster.6/10

Magnum-This ride seemed extremley rough for a relitivley new steel ride but it wasnt bad.6.5/10

Wicked Twister-I perfer V2.....nuff said.5.5/10

MaxAir-AMAIZING my favorite non-coaster ride.9/10

Sky Hawk-Fun, but not quite as good as MaxAir.8/10

I have been to CP since 1999 and the park is little better than SFGAm. CP has few coasters that they similar to GA's. I when I at the park last year, I rode most of the rides except for TTD and Mean Streak. My favorite was Maverick.

The food is shit at the park because I had a cheeseburger that it tasted like my school's and the Fries like McDonald's. The funnel cakes that I had tasted like GA's. The only place in the ENTIRE park that has good food is TGI Fridays at Hotel Breakers (Which I stayed at).

^Oh, I didn't have any food at the park (subway in the parking lot) except for a hot dog, which tasted pretty good. To me CP is better because of there loose article policy (they dont force you to buy lockers), and there are more that 5 songs playing per day, actually I don't think I heard the same song twice the three days I stayed. The paths are also wider and allow you much more space to walk. Atleast for me the coaster selection was better.

Unless you're an oversized person, how the heck do you go to CP and not ride Top Thril Dragster? That's one of the best rides at the park, and I can't see a visit being complete without it.

My heart was pounding like fuck when I wasn't ready to Dragster at CP. I was nervous about riding it.

^Haha same thing here, only on Millenium. When I saw how high it was I got nervous but just went through with it. Then I figured Dragster wasn't much higher so that helped. Both rides blew me away though.
