This ride might have been a lot faster when I was young, but the ride is just disappointing to me now. The one at Kiddieland is a lot better. Sorry, Carousel. It looks nice, but who cares if it rides bad.

What do I think of when someone says Six Flags Great America or carousel I think of Columbia Carousel. The signature of Six Flags Great America. Yes Ameri-go-round was fun. But nothing beats a relaxing ride on the top floor, on a horse a nice ride. A very relaxing ride. No other carousel can beat it.

This is a very nice Carousel. I really like the painting. My favorite floor is the 2nd.

I always make sure that I snag a ride before leaving the park on this thing. It's always funny watching the people try to hop on if the horse is at the top position. Plus I don't know it just doesn't seem right to finish without it.

I agree with the statement above a trip to the park most definately is not complete without a trip around the carousel or on Sky Trek Tower for that matter. But this poor structure is in need of refurbishment. It needs paint and definately needs the music instruments cleaned and polished and fixed.
