Title: Space Shuttle America

A motion-simulator ride that opened in 1994. Takes you on a virtual trip to the moon (don't ask how the asteroids got there).

Demolished in the fall of 2009.

Space Shuttle America is one of the better simulators out there, but not the best. SSA have many awesome videos and some fantastic scenery.

Ride it self- Good ride, not that force less but really shaky. On my first ride when I was 6, I thought it was one of the best rides in the world. When they aired Stargate SG 300, I thought it got a little more extreme, but didn't fit the space theming. It just got a little more Star Trek - ish if you know what I mean. Now with the original video, everything is right. I just didn't knew it was gonna be that short.

Theming- Everything is right, and a special. Full of clocks, que videos, ad a lot more other theming in the ride. The exterior is really pleasing to the eye.

Overall, I give it a 8/10. The ride and theming is great, but the ride is too short.

Space Shuttle America is deffinently one of the better motion simulators out there that is very fun with a great video that is a little short. It is very shaky and if your a guy sometimes it hurts if you know what I mean ;) . I really like the theming though with the windows in the lab that makes it fun. Overall I would rate it a 6/10 because it is a nice ride but it could be better.

Also ive been wondering why SSA only uses the right side of the seats?

^ I belive one part of the ride is a non-motion seat and the other is a regular ol' motion ride.

It has to do with capacity. They need another person if they use both sides. It's 2 people compared to 1. The back rows on each are the non-motion seats. I think 1 person could handle all those people, but who I am to say so. To me, it doesn't matter. So, it would take a couple minutes longer checking the seats. However, more people will be able to get through the line.

I'll give a rating for each simulator show they had:

For Space Shuttle America show - 7/10
Dino Island 2: 8/10
Elvira: 8/10
Was it Battlestar something?: 1/10

one time to check the seats it took 10 minutes. I am not sure why but if anyone noticed in tdk after the pre-show on the left is parts of the decorations of the inside of ssa. thy just changed the tapes from maps to the joker. any way I would give it a 7/10. I did love this ride and I hope something really good replaces it.

The Fright Fest Film Elvira's Superstition was GREAT! Set in an abandomed amusement park with broken rides not knowing what was around the corner awesome.
