The last Schwarzkopf Jet Racer in America. This family coaster has delivered thrills to ages 5 thru 85 and more since the park's opening in 1976.

I just became addicted to this ride yet again last year. It was just fun going on this ride again, and again. The twisty turns, and what not made this a great experience.

I love the Whizzer, I ranked it #49 on my steel coaster ballot (doesn't sound great but out of 134 steel coasters it's not bad)
This coaster is just great, it's not too intense but there are moments which are just deliciously perfect for the setting and style. Overall I'd give the Whizzer an 8/10

Whizzer is one of my favorite family coasters at a park. I love the turns on this coaster. There is a coaster similar this at IB called the Tig'er. :happi:

I love going on the Whizzer at night. Just remember to keep your mouth closed though...otherwise you may end up with a mouth full of bugs! And yes, this has happened to me! Especially when you are seated in the front row. 8/10

I've always loved this coaster since I was a kid. It's a perfect family coaster, and not to mention "date" coaster, due to the inline seating! I love riding it at night in the dark, especially going down into the trees! The front seat is alot of fun, and feels like you're on a bobled, going into those banked turns! I hope this ride stays at the park forever.

Usually when the park opens for the season, I make a beeline to either this or the Demon. I took 2 girls on this ride and both of them ended up dating me shortly after. There's something so magical about the ride. To me, its like the central nerve center of Six Flags Great America. It's been there since the park was conceived and hopefully will always be there

It was my first coaster when I first started going to the park, rode it 26 times the first day we went. I couldn't go on anything else because I was too short or too scared

It is weird I rode this before riding the DEMON and this gave me a bigger jolt of adrenaline. Who cares, a great family coaster with a lot of twists and turns

The Whizzer really is an awesome coaster. I used to wish it would just be torn down and replaced with something better, but now, I'd rather give up a ride like Superman. This is a perfect coaster for families, and also a great coaster for you and someone special. Overall, better at night.

Not only is this coaster better at night it is better at night after a rain it gets fast and rough, the grease and water mixing sparks flying off the track in short heaven. The best is when you get the last ride of the night like I did yesterday. I was with a woman and her kids she starts singing the cha cha slide and on the last turn into the station I bust out EVERYBODY CLAP YOUR HANDS!! and we got the whole train doing it. It is truly a memory I will not forget.
