Title: DejaVu

A Vekoma Giant Inverted Boomerang that opened in 2001. The ride was very popular, but plagued with downtime, which eventually resulted in its removal in 2007.

Déjà Vu is truly amazing! It's my favorite ride ever (along with V2)! From the moment you are pulled out of the station backward and climb the first vertical tower slowly, facing the ground, you know you're in for an intense ride. The boomerang is something else, and the loop adds to the fun. When you're caught, and brought up the second vertical tower, you just feel the gravity pushing you into your seat. If you sit in the front row, you'll think you're going to roll off the tower, but all of a sudden, the ride falls and you do the course all over again...backwards!

It give the ride a 9.5/10. The only reason it's a 9.5 is because there are long queue lines, and it does break down a lot. It is getting better though!

I would get to the ride as soon as you enter the park. Lines get long fast! Ride it either first thing in the morning, or last thing at night.

All-in-all, I highly recommend it!

This ride is completely breath-taking. When in the right row, this ride is heaven. Feeling like you are falling out (You never would.), and being pushed back in the seat are just something you can't find anywhere else.

11/10 It's great. It has to get over a 100.

Closest rides to it are:

Invertigo (Kings Island) - not 90 degrees towers, and smaller loop, but still
Of course the regular boomerangs
Yo-Yo (when it tilts)- falling and pushed back feeling
ARM G-Force sort of - no inversions, but the pull back, and falling out of your seat feeling

Deja Vu is a great ride. Not my favorite at SFGAm, but still good. One thing I have noticed though is that it seems to vibrate alot more than it did when it first opened. Even though I like the ride, I don't ride it often because of the line.

Deja Vu.

This crazy roller coaster is not what it is cracked up to be. I will admit, its theme and location are very good. I love the bright green and the name Deja Vu. It fits well with what the roller coaster does, as it repeats itself backwards. However, I never get any thrill from it. I do not experence the "falling out" feeling. I will ride Vu once in a while, because it is fun, just nothing exciting. I mainly ride it for the fact that it is likely to have problems when I'm on it and also because of its cool look and name. The line is terribly long for this ride and the time between loadings is five minutes plus. A line that normally takes 20 minutes will take an hour for Deja Vu.

Overall, 6/10.

As a steel Coaster it delivers the biggest bang for you buck. However running at just about 450 people an hour. And with all the down time,I can see Thomas Town going into that spot next year. Mr. Shapiro has said, "I will not invest anymore capital into these rides. Either they run more frequently and with higher capacity or I'll find something to replace them." :madness: So people ride it while it's still here it's days seem to be numbered.

You board, and it slowly pulls you up backwards, and you face straight down, until it releases and you go flying in to a cobra roll, then a loop. Then your pulled back up another tower and you do it all backwards.

9/10
