The world's first hyper-twister coaster opened in 1999 and is Great America's tallest and fastest roller coaster.

Raging Bull
With spacious, open trains and intense airtime hills and nearly straight down drops, Raging Bull is arguably the best thing about Great America. It's the first thing you see going North on 94, and the last when you leave. It's mix of curves and hills lead to a fast, intense experience that even trim-brakes cannot damper. It is a blast in every seat, especially the backrows. Even the line moves quickly.
Overall
10/10.

Yeeeeee Haw! Get ready to be a cowboy on this smooth, speedy roller coaster! When you begin, don't let the first drop fool you. There's another one. This one will send you falling like mad! Put your hands up to feel the complete experience! You'll be flying through the southwestern air like a cowboy chasing cattle across the plains! Raging Bull is one of the best coasters in the park. With the free "flying" sensation it gives you, you are sure to come back to ride the bull again and again! So go ahead. Save a horse. Ride Raging Bull!
9.5/10

Who says you need inversions to have a great coaster? This beast uses hills, and open sided trains to riders one of the wildest experiences ever! Six Flags Great America provided this beast a home in 1999. He may be aging, but he still packs in a powerful punch. When running three trains, the queue goes surprisingly quick. It opened as the tallest, fastest, and longest ride at Six Flags Great America, but it's debatable now that V2: Vertical Velocity is faster.
The restraints give riders one of the ultimate coaster experiences! Most think you'd have an "over the shoulder" restraint, but this is not the case. Raging Bull only has a lapbar. Don't worry, you're completely safe!
9.5/10. Raging Bull is my second favorite ride ever!
Raging Bull is one big, bad beast. Don't fight it. RIDE IT!

This is one of my favorite steel coasters so far. It's a great ride with some great air time, good banked turns, and some big ass drops.

I rode it on opening day after pondering about it the whole winter. I was attending CLC at the time and on my way home I used to pass it coming down washington street and i couldn't wait to ride it. When i saw how steep that first drop was as they were building it prior to it opening, I was saying to myself, this is going to be one hell of a coaster! On opening day, I rode it in the second to last row and was completely satisfied! the airtime was great in my opinion and the tall lift hill was great in building up the anticipation as your near the top of the hill. I was 25 at the time when I rode it and i can't believe how much time has passed since it opened. I'm now 35 and still think it will give me that same ride experience as it did before when I rode it for the first time. :)

The raging bull,
This ride is what i think is the best or close to the best ride at sfgam. It's long and open with many drops and it's very smooth. I give it a 10/10
