A 227 foot freefall ride.
Giant Drop. A coal mine elevator ride. As you sit in the loading dock. You weight then you hear *click*. Then you know your about to go up. But this elevator is no ordinary one. It doesn’t bring you down, it drops you down. Then you start going up. And you hit the top, a few seconds later you hear another *click*. And you think 3,2,1. Then the catch car lets go. Then its all down hill from there. You drop. And you go on some bottom brakes. And you slow to a stop. I have to say, you have some great views of the park. The line doesn’t get long. A great freefall.
Giant Drop 9/10

I rode Giant Drop for my first time last year during Fright Fest 2007 (also my first FF) and loved it! You think it's gonna be scary but once you get to the top you don't look too high up compared to the other coaster around you.

One of my favorite rides in any park is the Freefall tower. I loved the Edge freefall and I like this one, too. Great view from the top, but I think something they could do to make the ride more thrilling for us repeat riders is to drop the cars in random order! Imagine just sitting up there wondering if your turn is next, as you hear other cars around you fall!
