It was a very short day today, but a very good day! I went to sfgam with mrbf, got there around 11:15 ish and IT WAS HOT! We were dying even before we did a single thing there. We had no money whatsoever so we got some free cups of water and drank them. Then we went to V2 and I waited for the ice to melt while we were in line. When we got to the station, we were rubbing the ice on our arms and backs. Then we had an awesome ride!

We could only stay till 3 so we were'nt gonna go on a variety of rides, just our favs. So we went back in line for V2. This time we were sizzling so much in the sun's ultraviolet radiation that our sweat began to boil. I got a little shade under the flash pass guy's umbrella. So when we finally got under the roof, we were like "AHHHHH SHADE!" Then we had an awesome ride!

We took a break to get more free water but this time we kept the cups and I went to every bathroom I saw, filled the cup with water from the bubbler (Yes, I'm from WI, I don't say "water fountain".) and dumped it over my head! So we went to Raging Bull and some kid puked the row we were waiting for. So they had to disinfect it and all that jazz. mrbf and I were fighting over who would take the seat that was puked in and it ended up being me! So I sat in a seat, wet by the froot loop - smelling disinfecty foamy stuff. Then we had anawesome ride!

We were so hot, but we had to ride Bull again...so we did! Then we had an awesome ride!

Both of us, without thinking or even communicating with each other, immediately headed for V2. On the way, I drenched myself in water to the point where I was soaked EVERYWHERE...including my shorts. It looked like I jumped in a lake, but I felt soooo much better after doing that! While the burning rays continued to fry mrbf (since she refused to dump water on her head and clothes), We waited yet again for the amazing velocity that goes vertical every now and then! During that time, I began to notice that big dark cloud that I had been hoping for the whole day! I had been in line praying for overcast or rain or anything to beat the heat! I'm surprised V2 was ok unsure . All that covered the sun every so often was a little cloud here and there.

During our wait in the station, I thought about how adreniline - rusing V2 is and I said to myself "This is it! Wwe're all going to die. Its the apocalypse!" Then I thought of how cool "The Apocalypse" would be for a roller coaster! So I shouted it more and more! "Its the Apocalypse!" Before launch, I said "This ride is the apocalypse! This lauch will be the apocalypse!" Then we had an awesome ride!

I had died MANY times every time I rode V2 and had so many lives, but it was the apocalypse and I had lost my last life! I was in heaven! We ALL were in heaven! We sat a while then ran back in line. When we got up to the station the clouds came rolling in, the wind whipped past and the sky darkened to an inky gray! Lightning! More lightning! MORE lightning! Ok, finally they closed the ride. So I watched the storm from the west side of the station. It pretty much died when it got over us and was just clouds and wind. Then later a little rain, a little more rain and rain! It was getting late and none of the rides had opened, so we decided we had to go. The ominous sky had passed and as I said goodbye to Mr. Velocity, the rain died down. There wasn't too much of anything, then all of a sudden, the lightning came back! As SI and I walked to the car it was bolt after bolt. Let's just say I don't like having almost nothing around me in a lghtning storm! So we went to White Castle and then on the freeway, we saw lightning coming from light clouds. It was weird! But freeeeeeeekin' awesome! I'd always wanted to see a storm at sfgam and I finally got one! AND I got to watch it from the bestest most absolutely bestest ride in the whole entire park!

BTW, I am currently dead...but then again, we all are!
