I went to sfgam today (well actually yesterday, the 24th) with mrbf and our friend Amanda. I had to post a TR because this is really exciting! She had not been on roller coasters since 2003, when she was in 8th grade. That was her first time too, so she was nt experienced at all! We had been telling her all along about V2. She was deathly scared because of a bad experience on her first coaster ever, Raging Bull. So we immediately went to V2 and she was nervous. When we were riding, I could hear her screaming her lungs out next to me. She braved letting go toward the end and slapped my hand. Then she was HOOKED!
We went to Raging Bull and then Giant Drop, where I screamed "My feet!" as we were falling. Then when we got off, I said "hey, where did my feet go?"
So them two got a henna while I went to V2 again by myself (which I do often). That was an awesome ride, like always. So I caught up with them again and got a strawberry churro and we went on V2 twice and got last ride of the night. Amanda told me she felt that "rush" that I always speak of. But here's the thing...I didn't describe the rush to her and ask her if she felt it, she just got off and said "Wow! I just get this rush from going on that ride" and from what she tells me, its pretty much the same thing I get. She was non stop talking about how much she loved V2 and how she was extremely addicted! Well, I have another for the club! :D
How long were the flat rides, and coasters yesterday? Can you please give me some estimated times if you could. Thank you.
Well, we didn't get there until 5:30, so I don't know what they were like earlier. I didn't get a good look at all of the lines. But Giant Drop's line was only about 10 mins. V2's was longer at first (maybe 45 mins, but that's just an estimate) Bull's was about the same. Then later on V2's line was only in the station, which made it only about 10 mins or so. I didn't really time it, so I can't say for sure of anything. I didn't get a good look at flats,but I know the line for East River Crawler and Whirligig were not long at all. Sorry I can't hlp you too much.
